CDL Rearload Route Driver

Waste Connections is seeking a CDL Rearload Route Driver for our Hermiston, OR operation. In this role, you will safely operate a rearload garbage truck to provide reliable residential and commercial waste collection. You'll run assigned routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure all work follows DOT, safety, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL rearload garbage truck on assigned residential and commercial routes
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs
• Safely load, transport, and unload solid waste in compliance with regulations
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety procedures, including PPE use
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedule, route changes, and service issues
• Provide courteous customer service and handle basic service-related questions
• Monitor vehicle and equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Maintain clean truck and work area in line with environmental standards

Required Skills
