A-Level Automotive Technician

Auto Stop Elite in Fairfax, VA is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our customer-first, integrity-driven team. In this role, you'll perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles using modern equipment and ASE best practices. You'll handle complex drivability issues, electrical problems, and major component repairs while documenting findings clearly and communicating with service advisors. Responsibilities

• Perform A-level diagnostics and repairs on domestic and import vehicles
• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and safety checks per shop standards
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify complex issues
• Document findings, recommendations, and repairs on work orders
• Communicate clearly with service advisors about needed repairs and timelines
• Follow ASE and manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized bay and care for shop tools and equipment
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on automotive technology
