A-Level Automotive Technician

The Auto Shop in Lubbock, TX is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our integrity-driven, customer-focused team. In this full-time role, you'll perform advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and routine maintenance on domestic and foreign vehicles, using modern scan tools and equipment. You'll inspect vehicles, identify issues, explain needed repairs clearly, and document work accurately. Working in a supportive, team-based shop, you'll grow your technical skills, contribute to honest, high-quality service, and help build lasting relationships with our local customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex mechanical and electrical repairs on domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete routine maintenance services, inspections, and safety checks to manufacturer and shop standards
• Use modern scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair information systems to identify and resolve issues
• Clearly explain findings, repair options, and maintenance needs to service advisors and, when needed, customers
• Document all work performed, parts used, and test results accurately on repair orders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all shop safety procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality, on-time repairs
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving vehicle technology and best practices
