A-Level Automotive Technician

Auto Stop Elite in Fairfax, VA is seeking an A-Level Automotive Technician to join our integrity-driven, customer-first team. In this role, you'll perform advanced diagnostics, complex mechanical and electrical repairs, and thorough inspections on a wide range of vehicles. You'll use modern scan tools and service information to accurately identify issues, recommend honest, necessary repairs, and complete high-quality work the first time. Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex mechanical and electrical repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections, maintenance services, and road tests to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Use OEM-level scan tools, service information, and technical data to accurately identify and resolve issues.
• Document findings, recommended repairs, and completed work clearly and thoroughly in the shop management system.
• Communicate findings and repair options to service advisors and, when needed, directly to customers with clarity and integrity.
• Follow shop safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and properly handle tools and equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technologies and repair methods.
• Mentor junior technicians and support a collaborative, team-oriented shop culture.
