A-Level Automotive Technician

865 Autos LLC seeks an experienced A-level Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of used vehicles for retail sale. You'll handle advanced diagnostics, engine, brake, suspension, and electrical work using modern scan tools and equipment. This on-site role supports a small, customer-focused dealership where technicians collaborate closely with sales to prioritize reconditioning, ensure vehicle safety and reliability, and deliver a smooth, low-pressure buying experience. Responsibilities

• Diagnose drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues on a wide range of used vehicles.
• Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and HVAC systems.
• Complete inspections and preventive maintenance to prepare vehicles for retail sale.
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify faults and verify repairs.
• Document findings, estimates, and completed work on repair orders accurately.
• Collaborate with sales staff to prioritize reconditioning and meet delivery timelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service area and follow safety procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm repair quality and overall roadworthiness.
• Assist with occasional lot support, vehicle check-in, and basic reconditioning tasks.
