Middle School Math Tutor

SmartStart Education, LLC seeks a Middle School Math Tutor to support grades 6-8 students with targeted math intervention and test preparation. In this role, you will deliver small-group and one-on-one instruction aligned to standards and school curricula, using SmartStart's assessment and instructional tools. You will analyze formative data, track progress, and collaborate with teachers and coordinators to strengthen student outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in middle school math aligned to state standards and school curricula
• Deliver test preparation and skill-building lessons using Smart
• Start materials and strategies
• Use formative assessments to identify student needs and adjust instruction
• Track and report student progress to program coordinators and school partners
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support intervention plans
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Communicate regularly with coordinators about scheduling, student attendance, and performance
• Participate in training on Smart
• Start tools, assessments, and instructional practices
