Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on ambulances and transport vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and complete timely repairs
- Ensure fleet meets safety, DOT, and healthcare transport regulatory standards
- Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory
- Coordinate inspections, scheduling, and vendor services for fleet needs
- Support roadside emergencies and after-hours breakdowns as needed
- Collaborate with operations staff to minimize vehicle downtime
- Train or guide junior technicians on procedures and safety practices
