Daniel Defense LLC seeks a Director of EHS and Facilities Maintenance to lead environmental, health, and safety programs and oversee facilities for our advanced firearms manufacturing operations in Georgia. This role drives OSHA and environmental compliance, develops safety policies, and leads risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. You will manage building systems, preventive maintenance, contractors, and capital projects to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to promote a culture of safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of EHS strategy and programs across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage facility maintenance, including building systems, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training and communication for all plant personnel.
  • Oversee contractors and capital projects related to facilities, utilities, and building improvements.
  • Monitor EHS and maintenance KPIs; report performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness, response planning, and drills.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality to support safe, efficient production.
  • Manage EHS and facilities budgets and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
