Class A Travel Truck Driver

Ryder System seeks a Class A Travel Truck Driver with flatbed experience to support our transportation network. In this role, you'll haul flatbed freight across regional and multi-state routes, performing safe loading, securement, and tarping. You'll complete thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate ELD logs, and follow all DOT and Ryder safety standards. Working in a safety-first, customer-focused culture, you'll represent Ryder at customer sites, ensure on-time delivery, and support dependable logistics solutions with opportunities for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer to transport flatbed freight safely and on schedule
• Secure and tarp flatbed loads per DOT and Ryder safety standards
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, reporting defects promptly
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation using ELD and Ryder systems
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations and Ryder safety policies
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and yard personnel
• Assist with routing, trip planning, and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Protect freight integrity and report incidents, delays, or issues immediately
