Truck Driver CDL A

Ryder System is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver for regional routes with weekly home time. In this role, you'll transport freight safely and efficiently across assigned lanes, supporting Ryder's end-to-end logistics operations. You'll perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, and keep accurate electronic logs. Drivers interact with dispatch and customers to ensure on-time deliveries, secure freight properly, and report maintenance needs. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer equipment on assigned regional routes
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document findings per DOT and Ryder policies
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight while maintaining customer service standards
• Accurately maintain electronic logs and required DOT documentation
• Secure and handle freight safely, following loading and unloading procedures
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and equipment issues
• Follow all safety, compliance, and company policies while on the road and at customer sites
• Report maintenance needs and support basic upkeep of assigned equipment
