4 year-old Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a 4 year-old Teacher to lead a nurturing, academically rich preschool classroom. You will design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that balance structured learning and play, support social-emotional growth, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. Partner closely with families through regular communication and progress updates, and collaborate with a supportive team of educators. This role offers ongoing training, professional growth, and the opportunity to shape children's early learning in a child-centered, high-quality educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons for 4-year-olds
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supervise children and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Assess and document children's progress and development
• Communicate regularly with families about student growth and classroom activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best practices
• Support social-emotional development and positive behavior
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain organized learning spaces
