Pre-K Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a dedicated Pre-K Teacher to nurture young learners in a warm, academically rich environment. You will design and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that balance structured learning and play, supporting social, emotional, and cognitive growth. In this role, you'll ensure a safe, inclusive classroom, observe and document progress, and communicate regularly with families. You'll collaborate with a supportive team, participate in ongoing professional development, and help shape a strong foundation for each child's future success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate pre-K lessons aligned with school curriculum
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Observe and assess children's progress and document learning
• Communicate regularly with families about student growth and classroom activities
• Collaborate with teachers and staff on school events, planning, and best practices
• Maintain classroom routines, behavior expectations, and safety standards
• Prepare learning materials, centers, and activities that promote play-based learning
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities
