Early Childhood Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to create a warm, engaging classroom for young learners. In this on-site role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate, academically rich lessons that blend structured learning with play. You'll foster a safe, inclusive environment, guide social-emotional growth, and communicate regularly with families. Teachers collaborate closely with colleagues, participate in ongoing training, and access growth opportunities within a supportive, child-centered culture focused on educational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned lessons for young children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom that supports social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress to inform instruction.
• Maintain open, professional communication with families and conduct regular updates on student growth.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leaders to align curriculum and share best practices.
• Implement school safety, health, and cleanliness procedures consistently.
• Participate in professional development and training offered by Chesterbrook Academy.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
• Prepare instructional materials and organize learning centers that blend play and structured learning.
• Support classroom routines, behavior expectations, and positive guidance strategies.
