Badgerland Supply, Inc. - Madison, a leading construction materials supplier, is seeking a safety-focused Driver to deliver drywall, steel, insulation, and related products to commercial and residential jobsites. In this role, you will safely operate company trucks, load and secure materials, and use forklifts or other equipment to unload and stock products where contractors need them. You'll review delivery tickets, perform routine vehicle inspections, and follow all DOT and jobsite safety rules. Working closely with warehouse and dispatch teams, you'll support complex jobsites while providing reliable, professional service to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company delivery trucks to transport drywall, steel, insulation, and related materials to commercial and residential jobsites.
  • Load, secure, and unload materials using forklifts, boom or flatbed equipment, and manual handling while protecting product quality and preventing damage.
  • Verify orders, delivery tickets, and materials against customer requirements and resolve basic discrepancies with dispatch or warehouse staff.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Follow all DOT, company, and jobsite safety procedures, including PPE use and safe work practices on active construction sites.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and jobsite contacts to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient routing.
  • Provide courteous, professional service to contractors and crews, representing Badgerland Supply, Inc. - Madison on every delivery.
  • Assist with occasional yard or warehouse tasks such as staging loads, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
