Senior Credit Analyst

First National Bank Texas seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to evaluate and manage credit risk across consumer and commercial loan portfolios. In this role, you will analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flows, and collateral to assess creditworthiness and recommend sound loan structures. You will prepare clear credit memos, assign risk ratings, and monitor portfolio performance to identify trends and emerging risks. Responsibilities

• Analyze personal and business financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to assess creditworthiness.
• Prepare detailed credit memos with recommendations on loan structure, terms, and risk ratings.
• Monitor existing loan portfolios, identify emerging risk, and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Ensure compliance with bank credit policy, regulatory guidance, and underwriting standards.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and lending officers on new and renewed credit requests.
• Assist in setting and reviewing credit limits, covenants, and collateral requirements.
• Track and report portfolio performance, trends, and concentrations to management.
• Support periodic reviews, audits, and stress testing of credit portfolios.
