Truck Driver

Badgerland Supply, Inc. - Madison is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to safely deliver drywall, steel framing, insulation, and related materials to commercial and residential jobsites. In this field-based role, you will operate CDL trucks, secure and protect loads, and perform routine vehicle inspections while following DOT and OSHA standards. You'll work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams, provide courteous service to contractors, and support safe, efficient delivery and stocking that keeps construction projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL truck to deliver drywall, steel framing, insulation, and related materials to commercial and residential jobsites.
• Load, unload, and properly secure materials using approved load securement methods and equipment.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all DOT, company, and OSHA safety regulations, including hours-of-service and PPE requirements on jobsites.
• Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to plan efficient routes and on-time deliveries.
• Provide professional, courteous service to contractors and site supervisors, confirming orders and resolving basic delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and required electronic or paper documentation.
• Assist warehouse team with material handling and stocking when not on delivery routes.

Required Skills

• CDL Class A or B driving
• Safe operation of flatbed/box trucks
• Load securement with straps and chains
• Forklift or boom truck operation
