Preschool Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher

Merryhill School seeks a caring Preschool Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to support our nurturing, academically focused early childhood program. In this on-site role, you'll assist the lead teacher with daily care, diapering, feeding, and nap-time routines while helping implement age-appropriate learning activities. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom, support children's social-emotional growth, and partner closely with families and staff. Responsibilities

• Support lead teacher with daily care, routines, and learning activities for infants and toddlers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
• Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap-time routines
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, exploration, and early learning
• Observe and report children's progress, behavior, and concerns to the lead teacher
• Support positive behavior and social-emotional development
• Communicate warmly and professionally with families and staff
• Follow school policies, health, and safety procedures
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning centers
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development as requested
