Afternoon Preschool Substitute Teacher

Merryhill School is seeking an Afternoon Preschool Substitute Teacher to provide nurturing, on-call support in our private preschool classrooms. In this role, you will follow established lesson plans, maintain routines, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for young children. You'll support students' social, emotional, and academic growth through age-appropriate activities while upholding our focus on strong family partnerships and individualized attention. Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage preschool children in a safe, nurturing classroom environment
• Follow established lesson plans and daily routines prepared by lead teachers
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic development through age-appropriate activities
• Maintain classroom order, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups as an on-call substitute
