Junior Automotive Technician

Sun Auto Service seeks a Junior Automotive Technician to perform inspections, basic repairs, and scheduled maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. In this entry-level role, you'll assist senior techs with diagnostics, brakes, oil changes, and minor engine and transmission services while learning proper procedures and safety standards. You'll use shop tools and equipment, follow repair orders, and document work performed. Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fluid services, and filter replacements
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics, brake work, and minor engine and transmission repairs
• Conduct vehicle inspections and document findings on repair orders
• Use shop tools and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and teammates about vehicle status
• Follow Sun Auto Service quality standards and repair procedures
• Participate in training to expand technical and diagnostic skills
