Montessori Toddler Assistant Teacher

Evergreen Academy is seeking a Montessori Toddler Assistant Teacher to support a nurturing, student-centered classroom for children ages 18 months-3 years. In partnership with the lead teacher, you will help prepare the environment, guide children through Montessori activities, and support social, emotional, and independence skills. Responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with toileting and self-care, maintaining materials, and communicating with families. Responsibilities

• Support the lead Montessori teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
• Supervise toddlers to ensure a safe, nurturing learning environment
• Prepare and maintain Montessori materials and a tidy classroom
• Assist children with self-care, toileting, and independence-building skills
• Observe and document children's development and interests
• Communicate warmly and professionally with families and staff
• Reinforce school policies, routines, and positive behavior expectations
• Participate in team meetings and professional development
