CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Pipefitter Journeyman to install, pipe, and support commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. In this field-based role, you will lay out, cut, thread, braze, and weld piping; set and connect equipment; and perform pressure testing and system checks to ensure safe, efficient, code-compliant operation. You'll read blueprints, collaborate with foremen and other trades, and follow strict safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Install and fit piping for HVAC/R and refrigeration systems on commercial and industrial projects
  • Braise, weld, and mechanically join piping to code and manufacturer specifications
  • Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications to plan layout and routing
  • Set, connect, and support equipment such as condensers, evaporators, pumps, and valves
  • Pressure test, evacuate, and assist in charging systems to verify leak-free, efficient operation
  • Troubleshoot piping and system performance issues and perform corrective repairs
  • Follow Cool
  • Sys safety standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable mechanical codes
  • Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to meet schedule and quality targets
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and test results
