Data Center Lead

As a Data Center Lead at GXO Logistics, you will oversee mission-critical data center operations that power our transportation and logistics networks. You will lead a small technical team to ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure supporting supply chain, warehouse, and transportation systems. Partnering closely with supply chain, logistics, and procurement stakeholders, you'll manage incidents, changes, and upgrades, optimize capacity, and implement best practices. You'll promote GXO's culture of safety, inclusivity, and continuous improvement while mentoring staff and supporting global logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the logistics data center supporting transportation and supply chain activities
• Oversee availability, performance, and security of data center infrastructure and logistics applications
• Coordinate with supply chain, transportation, and procurement teams to ensure system uptime and data accuracy
• Manage incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance plans
• Supervise and mentor a small technical team and coordinate with external vendors
• Monitor KPIs, produce operational reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GXO safety, security, and sustainability standards
