HVAC/R Pipefitter Journeyman

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Pipefitter Journeyman to install and support refrigeration and mechanical piping systems for commercial and industrial customers. In this field-based role, you will read blueprints, lay out and install piping, perform brazing, pressure testing, and leak detection, and assist with system startup and commissioning. You'll work on diverse, energy-efficient projects while following strict safety and code standards. Responsibilities

• Install, fit, and support HVAC/R piping and refrigeration lines on commercial and industrial projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and piping diagrams to plan layout and installation.
• Perform brazing, soldering, pressure testing, and leak detection on refrigeration systems.
• Assist with system startup, commissioning, and verification of safe, efficient operation.
• Follow Cool
• Sys safety standards, OSHA regulations, and local mechanical codes.
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and technicians to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, orderly condition.
• Document work performed and communicate job status and issues to supervisors and customers.
