HVAC Service Technician

Astar Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric seeks an HVAC Service Technician to provide residential and light commercial service in the Newburgh, NY area. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems, perform seasonal tune-ups, and assist with equipment installs while delivering respectful, in-home service. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventive maintenance visits
• Install and start up HVAC equipment and components as assigned
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and controls issues related to HVAC systems
• Explain findings, options, and maintenance recommendations to customers
• Document work performed, parts used, and system conditions accurately
• Follow safety procedures and protect customers' homes and property
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage daily schedule
• Participate in ongoing technical and customer-service training
