Food Service Team Member

Join Pilot Flying J as a Lead Food Services Team Member in our Food & Beverage Operations. In this fast-paced, guest-focused role, you'll lead by example in preparing and serving food, ensuring quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met every shift. You'll train and coach team members, manage line flow, and support inventory, cash handling, and compliance with food safety and company policies. Working in our people-first, team-oriented culture, you'll help create a welcoming environment for professional drivers and travelers while building skills for growth across our travel center and broader Pilot Company network.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily food service operations to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverages to brand and company standards
• Train, coach, and support food service team members during shifts
• Monitor food safety, labeling, holding temperatures, and cleanliness
• Handle cash, point-of-sale transactions, and basic paperwork accurately
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and product rotation to reduce waste
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment following company and regulatory guidelines
• Support scheduling, shift coverage, and communication with management
• Resolve guest issues professionally and uphold hospitality standards
