Dealership Mechanic

CarMax is seeking a skilled Dealership Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of used vehicles in our state-of-the-art service center. In this on-site role, you'll perform mechanical and electrical repairs, routine maintenance, and safety checks to ensure every vehicle meets CarMax's rigorous quality standards. You'll use modern diagnostic tools, follow detailed repair procedures, and accurately document all work. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of used vehicles to Car
• Max quality standards
• Perform inspections, maintenance services, and safety checks to ensure vehicles are retail-ready
• Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and Car
• Max systems to document work and maintain accurate repair records
• Collaborate with service advisors, detailers, and sales teams to prioritize work and meet customer timelines
• Follow all safety, environmental, and compliance procedures in the service shop
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on automotive technologies and Car
• Max processes
• Support a customer-focused culture by communicating clearly and professionally with teammates
