Infant Teacher Assistant

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an Infant Teacher Assistant to support nurturing, developmentally appropriate care for infants in our private preschool. In this role, you'll assist the lead teacher with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining a safe, clean classroom. You'll help implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, and cognitive development while following curriculum guidelines. The assistant partners closely with families, communicates daily updates, and models our culture of safety, inclusivity, and collaboration. Ongoing training and growth opportunities are provided in our supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teacher with infant care and classroom routines
• Assist with feeding, diapering, and naptime according to safety and health guidelines
• Help implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Observe and document children's daily activities as directed
• Communicate daily with families about children's routines and progress
• Follow school policies, licensing regulations, and health standards
• Collaborate with teaching team to support curriculum and classroom goals
• Participate in training and professional development
• Support an inclusive, nurturing, child-centered culture
