Toddler Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a caring Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children 18-36 months. In this role, you will implement an academically rich, developmentally appropriate curriculum that blends structured learning with play-based exploration. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, supporting social-emotional growth, monitoring developmental milestones, maintaining classroom safety and cleanliness, and building strong partnerships with families. You will collaborate with a supportive, child-centered team and participate in ongoing training and professional development to continuously grow your teaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Observe, document, and communicate developmental progress to families
• Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership on curriculum and events
• Build positive, professional relationships with families
• Participate in training and professional development sessions
• Support school-wide activities and a child-centered culture
