Pre K Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a dedicated Pre K Teacher to inspire young learners in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom. In this role, you will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, academically rich lessons that blend structured learning with play. You will observe and assess children's progress, adapt activities to support diverse learning needs, and maintain a warm, inclusive environment. You'll collaborate closely with families and teammates, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement that supports each child's unique potential and school readiness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned lessons for Pre K students
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports social-emotional growth
• Integrate play-based learning with early literacy, math, science, and creative activities
• Observe, document, and assess student progress to inform instruction
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities
• Collaborate with teaching team and school leadership on curriculum and school initiatives
• Maintain classroom organization, safety, and compliance with school and licensing guidelines
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training
• Support school events and family engagement activities
