Toddler Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a caring Toddler Teacher to create a safe, engaging classroom where young children learn through play and exploration. In this full-time role, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons, support social-emotional growth, and maintain consistent routines. You will communicate regularly with families, document progress, and follow all health, safety, and licensing standards. Collaborating with teammates, you'll participate in training, contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture, and help each child build confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills for future learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate toddler lesson plans and activities
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support toddlers' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain daily routines, classroom organization, and behavior guidance
• Monitor and document children's progress and developmental milestones
• Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and child progress
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and state licensing regulations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership on curriculum and events
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
• Sanitize materials and maintain a clean, orderly classroom
