Lead Two's Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a caring Lead Two's Teacher to guide toddlers' growth in a safe, nurturing classroom. You will design and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons that build early language, motor, and social-emotional skills. Responsibilities include observing and documenting progress, maintaining daily routines, ensuring health and safety, and managing classroom behavior with positive guidance. You'll partner closely with families, communicate daily updates, and collaborate with staff on curriculum and school events. Ongoing training and support help you grow as an early childhood education professional.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons for two-year-olds
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, language, and motor development
• Maintain consistent routines for meals, rest, and transitions
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress
• Communicate daily with families about activities and child progress
• Implement health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Use positive behavior guidance and classroom management strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school events
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings
