Quality Control

Xpedient Logistics, a Houston-based 3PL, is seeking a Quality Control professional to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance across warehousing and transportation operations. You will perform inspections on inbound and outbound shipments, audit inventory accuracy, verify documentation, and monitor service levels to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Working closely with operations and customer service teams, you'll investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements. This fast-paced role requires strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and comfort working on the warehouse floor in a high-volume logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Audit inventory counts, locations, and documentation to ensure data integrity in WMS and related systems.
• Monitor transportation and warehousing processes to verify adherence to quality, safety, and timeliness standards.
• Document quality issues, investigate root causes, and collaborate with operations teams on corrective actions.
• Track and report quality metrics, discrepancies, and trends to supervisors and management.
• Verify shipping and receiving paperwork, labels, and system entries for completeness and accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing errors and enhancing service reliability.
• Coordinate with customer service and warehouse staff to resolve order and shipment issues promptly.
• Conduct periodic safety and compliance checks on warehouse practices and storage conditions.
• Participate in training and coaching efforts to reinforce quality standards and best practices across the team.
