Concrete Mixer Driver

Auburn Concrete seeks a dependable Concrete Mixer Driver to safely deliver ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, and municipal job sites across Maine. In this field-based role, you'll operate a mixer truck, perform pre/post-trip inspections, load and unload concrete, and adjust slump to meet project specs. You'll work closely with dispatch, batch plant operators, and customers to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries while following strict safety and DOT regulations. Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix to job sites safely and on time
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
• Load and unload concrete, monitoring slump and mix quality per job requirements
• Follow DOT, company, and site-specific safety procedures at all times
• Communicate with dispatch, batch plant, and site crews to coordinate deliveries
• Complete required delivery tickets, logs, and basic paperwork accurately
• Maneuver and back mixer truck safely in tight and active construction areas
• Maintain cleanliness of truck drums, chutes, and exterior components
• Assist with basic yard, plant, or equipment support as needed
• Represent Auburn Concrete professionally with customers and the public
