2 Year Old Co-Lead Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a caring 2 Year Old Co-Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging classroom where toddlers learn through play and structured activities. You will co-plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons, support social-emotional growth, monitor milestones, and maintain positive communication with families. In this child-centered, collaborative environment, you'll model best practices in early childhood education, support classroom routines, uphold health and safety standards, document progress, and participate in professional development to continually grow your skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for 2-year-olds
• Co-lead classroom routines, transitions, and behavior management
• Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met at all times
• Observe, document, and report on children's developmental progress
• Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and child progress
• Collaborate with teaching team on curriculum and classroom strategies
• Support social-emotional development and positive peer interactions
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs and learning styles
• Maintain organized, engaging learning centers and materials
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
