Class B Commission Route Driver

Prairie Farms is seeking a Class B Commission Route Driver to safely deliver dairy products to established retail and foodservice customers. In this role, you'll load and unload product, follow an assigned route schedule, rotate stock, and ensure accurate invoicing and cash/credit handling. You'll build strong customer relationships through friendly, reliable service and merchandising support. Drivers inspect and maintain vehicles, follow DOT and food safety regulations, and complete daily logs. Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a Class B commercial vehicle on assigned delivery routes
• Load, unload, and deliver dairy products to retail and foodservice customers
• Verify orders, obtain customer signatures, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Merchandise products, rotate stock, and maintain product freshness in customer locations
• Provide friendly, reliable customer service and address basic customer inquiries
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and required DOT documentation
• Comply with DOT, company safety standards, and food safety/handling regulations
• Secure product and vehicle to minimize damage, loss, and safety risks
• Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues
