Academic Intervention Tutor

SmartStart Education, LLC seeks Academic Intervention Tutors to provide targeted K-12 support in reading, math, and test preparation. In this role, you will deliver standards-aligned, small-group and one-on-one instruction using SmartStart assessments and materials to identify learning gaps and accelerate progress. Tutors collaborate closely with school staff, use data to monitor growth, and adapt lessons to diverse learners. Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic intervention and tutoring for K-12 students in core subjects
• Use formative assessments and data to diagnose learning gaps and track progress
• Deliver standards-aligned instruction and test preparation support
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to align interventions with curriculum
• Adapt lessons for diverse learners and IEP/504 accommodations where applicable
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Communicate regularly with educators and site contacts about student needs
• Participate in training on Smart
• Start tools, assessments, and instructional resources
