Shop Mechanic

Papé Machinery, a leader in agricultural and turf equipment, is seeking a dedicated Shop Mechanic to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of John Deere equipment, ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance for our customers. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing agricultural equipment, using your skills to support the operational efficiency and technological advancement of our machinery offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair, a commitment to quality service, and a passion for agricultural technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various agricultural machinery and equipment, particularly John Deere models.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments on equipment for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the parts department to secure necessary components.
• Document service and repair processes and maintain up-to-date service records.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies and practices.
• Assist in training junior mechanics and support staff.
