Lead Toddler Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a Lead Qualified Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for young children. In this role, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate, academically rich lessons that blend structured learning with play. You will observe and document children's progress, communicate regularly with families, and support each child's unique social, emotional, and cognitive growth. As a team leader, you will mentor assistant teachers, model best practices, and help maintain licensing and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress
• Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily activities
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff
• Ensure compliance with state licensing, health, and safety standards
• Implement classroom management and positive guidance strategies
• Collaborate with school leaders and colleagues on school-wide initiatives
• Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and progress records
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
