HVAC Crew Leader

R.T. Moore Co., Inc. seeks an experienced HVAC Crew Leader to supervise installation of residential and multi-family HVAC systems on construction projects. You will lead a field crew, coordinate daily tasks, read and interpret plans, ensure quality installation of ductwork, piping, and equipment, and verify systems meet code and safety standards. Responsibilities include mentoring apprentices, tracking materials, collaborating with site supervisors, and troubleshooting start-up issues. Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC installation crew on residential and multi-family construction projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and mechanical drawings
• Install and oversee ductwork, piping, and HVAC equipment to code and quality standards
• Coordinate daily tasks, schedules, and resource allocation with site supervision
• Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and technicians
• Ensure jobsite safety, compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Inspect and test systems, troubleshoot issues, and support start-up and commissioning
• Track materials, tools, and job progress; communicate needs to project management
• Collaborate with plumbing and other trades to resolve field conflicts
• Document work performed and report project status to leadership
