Lead HVAC Installer

Hamilton Plumbing, Heating, A/C & Rooter is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to oversee residential heating and cooling installations across the Kansas City area. In this role, you'll lead an install crew, plan and execute replacements and new system installs, ensure code compliance, and deliver safe, high-quality work in customers' homes. You'll perform load calculations, set equipment, run refrigerant and ductwork, start up and test systems, and train apprentices. Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC installation crews on replacement and new construction jobs
• Plan, stage, and complete full system change-outs and new installs
• Perform site evaluations, measurements, and basic load calculations
• Install and set condensers, furnaces, air handlers, and ductless systems
• Run refrigerant lines, condensate, flue venting, and ductwork to code
• Start up, test, and commission systems, verifying performance and safety
• Ensure code compliance, jobsite safety, and high-quality workmanship
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and uphold customer-first service
• Complete required paperwork, documentation, and closeout procedures
