Journeyman HVAC Installer

Hauser Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Installer to install, replace, and start up residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. This field-based role includes reading plans, setting equipment, running refrigerant and ductwork, and ensuring code-compliant, high-quality installations. You'll interact directly with homeowners and businesses, explain system operation, and ensure job sites are clean and safe. The position offers steady work, ongoing technical training, and opportunities to earn certifications and grow within a customer-focused, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Read and interpret plans, schematics, and job layouts
• Run and connect refrigerant lines, electrical, and ductwork
• Perform start-up, testing, and balancing of new systems
• Ensure installations meet code, safety, and quality standards
• Communicate with homeowners and businesses about system operation
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Collaborate with team members and coordinators on project scheduling
• Complete basic documentation of work performed
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications
