Lead HVAC Installation Tech

Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Lead HVAC Installation Tech to oversee residential and light commercial system installs. In this field-based role, you'll lead small crews, complete full-system changeouts, ductwork, and equipment start-up, ensuring code compliance and safety. You'll diagnose install issues, verify airflow and refrigerant charge, and train junior techs on best practices. The role requires strong customer communication, accurate documentation, and coordination with the office on scheduling and materials. Responsibilities

• Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects
• Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
• Fabricate, modify, and install ductwork and ventilation components
• Perform equipment start-up, testing, and system commissioning
• Ensure installations meet code, safety, and manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose and resolve installation-related performance issues
• Train and mentor junior technicians and helpers
• Communicate with customers about work performed and system operation
• Maintain accurate job records, forms, and installation documentation
• Coordinate with office staff on scheduling, materials, and job status
