Residential HVAC Service Tech

McCarthy Services is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Tech to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems across the Richmond, VA area. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, AC units, and heat pumps
• Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and recommend solutions
• Install or replace HVAC components and related parts as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and local/mechanical codes
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about findings, options, and costs
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets
• Maintain company tools, vehicle, and inventory in good condition
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage daily workload
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
