Aksarben Heating, Air Conditioning, and Plumbing is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Tech to maintain, diagnose, and repair light commercial HVAC systems across the Omaha metro. In this field-based role, you'll troubleshoot rooftop units, heat pumps, furnaces, and controls; perform preventive maintenance; and complete accurate service documentation. You'll interact directly with customers, explain findings, and recommend solutions while upholding our safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair light commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, heat pumps, and furnaces
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control systems related to HVAC units
  • Respond to service calls across the Omaha metro and manage work independently in the field
  • Communicate findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to customers
  • Document work performed, parts used, and system conditions accurately in service tickets
  • Follow company and industry safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment
  • Collaborate with dispatch and team members to prioritize and complete service calls efficiently
  • Use HVAC tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment to verify proper system operation
  • Support long-term customer relationships through reliable, respectful in-home and on-site service
