Twos Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a caring Twos Teacher to guide toddlers through critical early developmental milestones. In this role, you will plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based lessons that build language, social-emotional, and motor skills while maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom. You will observe and document child progress, partner closely with families, and collaborate with teammates to align with our academically rich, developmentally appropriate curriculum. The ideal candidate brings patience, strong classroom management, and a passion for supporting each child's unique potential in a supportive, child-centered culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate curriculum for two-year-olds
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children's cognitive, social-emotional, and motor development
• Observe, assess, and document child growth and milestones
• Communicate regularly with families about progress and classroom activities
• Implement health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times
• Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior positively
• Collaborate with teaching team and school leadership on curriculum and events
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development
• Maintain classroom materials, organization, and documentation
