Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CDL-A tractor safely and professionally
• Transport expedited LTL and truckload freight on time
• Comply with all FMCSA/DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Use ELDs to maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Coordinate with dispatch for load planning and routing
• Protect freight integrity and follow proper securement procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers and operations teams
• Manage fuel, tolls, and operating costs as an independent contractor
• Uphold Forward Air's service, reliability, and performance standards
