Automotive Technician

Low Country Volkswagen in Charleston, SC is seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our service team. In this role, you'll diagnose and repair Volkswagen and other vehicles, perform routine maintenance, complete factory-recommended services, and accurately document all work. You'll use modern diagnostic tools, follow OEM and dealership standards, and ensure high-quality, timely repairs that support a transparent, customer-focused experience. Work closely with service advisors and teammates in a clean, well-equipped shop that values integrity, teamwork, and ongoing training for long-term career growth in automotive service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on Volkswagen and other vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
• Complete factory-recommended services following OEM specifications
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve vehicle problems
• Document all work performed in repair orders accurately and clearly
• Collaborate with service advisors to explain findings and repair needs
• Follow dealership, safety, and quality-control procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for shop tools and equipment
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
• Deliver friendly, professional service that supports customer satisfaction
