HVAC Service Tech

Andy's Statewide Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Tech with weekend availability to service residential customers across Michigan. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality systems while delivering courteous, professional service in customers' homes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, performing preventive maintenance, completing accurate service documentation, and following all safety and code requirements. You'll work closely with a supportive, team-oriented staff, receive ongoing technical training, and have opportunities to grow your HVAC career within a stable, customer-focused company.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heating, cooling, and indoor air quality equipment
• Respond to weekend service calls and provide timely, professional in-home service
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues using appropriate tools and meters
• Follow all safety, code, and company standards while working in customers' homes
• Communicate findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to homeowners
• Complete accurate service tickets, documentation, and inventory usage records
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, safe working condition
• Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage daily schedule and customer expectations
• Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with HVAC systems and best practices
