Responsibilities

• Operate safely as an independent CDL-A owner operator hauling LTL and truckload freight
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, safety, and ELD regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance
• Ensure secure, on-time pickup and delivery of freight
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations teams
• Manage routes, fuel stops, and driving hours for maximum efficiency
• Maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, and required documentation
• Protect freight integrity and follow load securement standards
• Coordinate planned home time with dispatch while meeting service expectations
