Alcohol Monitor

As an Alcohol Monitor with BEST Crowd Management, you will help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment at major sports, entertainment, and convention venues. Responsibilities include monitoring alcohol consumption, verifying IDs, enforcing venue and state alcohol regulations, identifying and reporting over-service or unsafe behavior, and supporting crowd management and guest safety. You'll interact professionally with guests, follow clear procedures, document incidents, and work closely with security and event staff. BEST provides training, clear guidelines, and opportunities to grow within a leading event security organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest alcohol consumption to promote a safe environment
• Verify identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
• Enforce venue, company, and state alcohol policies and regulations
• Identify signs of over-intoxication and unsafe behavior and take appropriate action
• Report and document incidents accurately and promptly
• Communicate with security, supervisors, and event staff via radio or other devices
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to guests and staff
• Support crowd management, access control, and direction of guest flow as needed
• Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures
• Participate in required training and briefings before events
